7-year-old girl grazed by stray bullet in Brooklyn shooting

A 7-year-old woman was grazed by a stray bullet whereas standing together with her mom at a Brooklyn intersection on Monday afternoon, police and sources mentioned.

The teen and her 28-year-old mom have been exterior of a deli on the nook of W. thirtieth Road and Surf Avenue in Coney Island when a gunman opened hearth from a black sedan simply after 3 p.m., cops and sources mentioned.

The pair fled to their residence — and over two hours later, the mom realized her daughter had suffered a graze wound to her stomach, sources mentioned.

The horrified mom referred to as 911 and her daughter was taken by EMS to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn the place she was listed in secure situation.

Police mentioned the kid doesn't seem to have been the shooter’s supposed goal. Cops recovered three 9mm shell casings from the scene.

NYPD has not recognized any suspects in connection to the taking pictures at the moment.

The terrifying incident comes after a very violent weekend in The Large Apple. In whole, 29 folks have been shot between Friday and Sunday in 24 separate incidents, the NYPD mentioned Monday.
