Two states have quickly suspended their fuel tax as costs on the pump have soared within the US amid inflation and Russia’s struggle with Ukraine.

Drivers in Georgia and Maryland have been granted the much-needed aid after lawmakers in these states halted the taxes final Friday.

Maryland acted first, pausing its fuel tax for 30 days by way of April 16, Gov. Larry Hogan mentioned on Twitter.
